70%+ renewable electricity via on-site solar, biomass and grid procurement By 2023, over 70% of worldwide electricity was renewable, achieved through transitions at various sites and the launch of a 1.2 MW solar plant at corporate headquarters in Ingelheim. A new biomass power plant is set to begin operations at headquarters in 2024. On-site renewable generation is being expanded, e.g. solar panels at the Shanghai production site.
