Commitment
Practices & perspective
“. * In addition to being part of the SME Climate Hub, we have signed, since 2020, a commitment to Business Ambition, NetZero 2030. And in 2023, we submitted our emissions reduction targets to the Science-Based Target Initiative. We are also committed to the Net Zero Ambition Movement, an initiative of the UN Global Compact's Brazil Network that aims to challenge and support signatory companies to establish robust, science-based targets. Since 2018, we have been inventorying our emissions according to the GHG Protocol. In addition to measuring emissions, we are dedicated to reducing our emissions and offsetting our residual emissions by purchasing carbon credits from verified projects. In 2024, we offset 19,0034 tCO2e and avoided 4,249 tCO2e of CO2 emissions. With our waste management actions, we stopped sending +736 kg of organic waste to landfills, generating +443 kg of fertilizer from composting.”
