Infosys has 28.9 mn sq.ft. with the highest level of green certification and monitors 35 mn sq.ft. of office space through its Command Center which schedules 'auto-pilot operations' using built-in intelligence. Rather than buying offsets off the shelf, Infosys carefully selects grass-root social development projects and runs them to generate emission offsets. Since 2016, we have implemented seven efficient cookstove projects, three biogas projects, one rural electrification project and one integrated community-based project (Solar, Cookstove, Street lighting, PHC) across India. 184,000 rural families continue to benefit from our carbon offset programs.
